Ovelia is one of my favorite characters in all of Final Fantasy, and her relationship with Delita is central to her story. This song takes place shortly after she is told she is not the real Ovelia, when Delita finds her and comforts her. The happy section revolves around her newfound sense of purpose. Then, as in the game, her theme becomes more reverent as they take their marriage vows and begin their rule. As time passes she begins having doubts about Delita's motives, and the piece ends on a tragic note reflecting her distrust of Delita.
