I chose Maybe I'm a Lion because of its heavy use of tom grooves and progressive rock melodies. The wild organ parts paired with the intricate bass and guitar made this song the perfect choice for me. I added multiple layers of bongos to give the song extra intensity. Using a double bass drum pattern was easily coaxed out of me while playing along with Lord Bif's killer guitar parts. As with all of my covers, I added more to the drums with extra fills, ghost notes, and more.
