For those who have heard my music in VVVVVV, you know that I am a lover of simple, catchy tunes. And I also like to take the simple things and expand upon them with many more simple melodies, making the end product multifaceted and rich.
I took the original catchy melody of Odeka De Chocobo and transmuted it to a detailed, multi-layered Sega Genesis style song because I wanted to do something different that still had the orignal baked in.
This was right up my alley, and allowed me to express some fun uplifting feelings, and give you a break from other kinds of seriousness. I take my humor seriously! ;)
