Originally the song was going to be hard and heavy remixed in a dubstep style but it didn't work practically in the end so I ran in the opposite direction. The original source had a very heavy vibe to it but my goal was to mellow the music out and the result was a remix in the style of deep house with very liberal use of the melodies.
