With this one, I decided to use winds and strings as opposed to just strings. I also added some creepy and mysterious effects to add more color to the orchestration as well as adding a viola and violin solo section. The ending result adds so much more to the original and takes the music in interesting turns while still keeping the nostalgia a focus. Josh Barron – Arranger
A self taught musician and composer, Josh started his interest in music at the age of ten years old. Since then he has written numerous arrangements for piano for the fan community and OneUp Studios' Xenogears Light | An Arrange Album, composed for a few game concepts, and just recently released his first solo arrangement debut in the form of The ETHEReal String Project along with the ETHEReal String Orchestra. With nine music projects slated for 2016 including Ori and the Blind Forest Symphony and the follow-up ETHEReal String album Continuum ~ Music of Yasunori Mitsuda, Josh just might have a promising year… if he can keep up!
