Since most players have spent a long time on the Thunder Plains dodging bolts, I knew that the original theme would be deeply engrained in people's minds. I wanted to approach it in a way that was very true to the original to evoke those memories, while making it feel more intimate and human by using only acoustic guitars. The style was heavily influenced by the layering and looping genius of Phil Keaggy's Acoustic Sketches.
