I had the opportunity to record a short piece at Abbey Road Studios, with the London Strings. I chose to write an arrangement that would serve as an interlude into Twilight Princess. "Monarchy in Shadows" was for a while the title of this album, before I changed the theme and expanded beyond the world of Twilight Princess. "This was once the kingdom of Hyrule. But that blessed kingdom has been transformed by the king that rules the twilight… It has been turned into a world of shadows, ruled by creatures who shun the light." -Zelda
