The Wounded Lord is another amalgamation of tracks, this time with "Black Banquet" and "Metamorphosis 3" as its foundation. The song begins with some original music which blends together several classic Dracula-related Castlevania themes in order to score the dialogue sequence between Alucard and Dracula. The next portion covers the fight using "Black Banquet" primarily…at first. However, to suitably portray the emotion behind the fight's climax, we gradually begin to hear several other Castlevania themes make an appearance, ultimately clashing and weaving all together. Alucard prevails, the music clings on for a moment, then fades. The dead silence is interrupted by the intrepid sound of marcato contrabasses, and now begins the final metamorphosis of the castle as it crumbles and dissolves away with the night.
Appears on Resurrection of the Night: Alucard’s Elegy (Music from “Castlevania: Symphony of the Night”)
