Aqua is a strong, yet somber, character in Birth By Sleep—although she is given the honor of being named Keyblade Master, she arguably suffers the most out of the Wayfinder Trio. This arrangement explores Aqua's despair during the events of 0.2 while making subtle nods to her memories of her friends. String clusters, brass bends, and nontraditional percussive elements help to give the listener a sense of the frustration Aqua must have felt while trapped in the Realm of Darkness.
