"Missing You, Namine" is a symphonic medley of an underappreciated character theme in the Kingdom Hearts story with the melancholy theme from the player's interactions with said character. Originally, the idea to combine these two tracks grew from the title of the official Kingdom Hearts Piano Collections track under the same name, but the way these themes have been put together with an expanded instrumentation for DARKNESS more readily serves to highlight the tragedy of Namine's abuse by the Organization during the events of Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories.
