I was inspired by Jessica Curry's beautiful and honest writing and the images her music conjured, wrapped within the concepts of the game narrative. Taking influence from the themes of reverberance and entropy in Gavin Bryar's 'The Sinking of The Titanic' (almost in reverse), I found myself picturing a gathering of musicians on a shore, grasping at melodic light as it enveloped them. My idea was for the piece to gradually rise into the air out of muddiness as if underwater, transition through static, become clear, then erupt into joyous celebration before 'disappearing' into vapor and chasing the light into nothingness (or possibly everythingness).
