I can't hear the name Xenogears without this music automatically starting to play in my head. It so perfectly encompasses the game's world and atmosphere, and I knew from the start that this was the track I wanted to arrange for OMEGA. There's something so magical and dreamlike about it. It's absolutely timeless. For this arrangement, I didn't want to alter the original too much, so for the first pass, the music is played more or less how it appears on the soundtrack, but with beautiful live harp and woodwind performances from Harpsona and Kristin Naigus (Field of Reeds), respectively. At the point where the original track loops, I wanted to give it a personal touch. I added original harmonies and accompaniment as a way of saying thank you to Yasunori Mitsuda for the years of inspiration this soundtrack has given me.
