Yasunori Mitsuda remains one of my greatest musical influences. This piece is one that I have always enjoyed. Although it is subdued and moving, it hints at a power struggle. With my arrangement, I decided to further illustrate that struggle by briefly adding tension in parts, and reserving the most powerful sound for the end. Unlike previous arrangements, I pulled all the stops and orchestrated this for full orchestra with choir. Peter Jones, with his vast experience in choral writing, took my parts and fleshed them out adding lyrics and complex harmonies. Krasi Krastev then took those lyrics and translated them into Bulgarian to match the style of Mitsuda's original vision.
