The arranger Nautilus T Party fell in love with the SEGA flagship Series Sonic the Hedgehog at the tender age of 6. Nautilus was blown away by the games breakneck speed, wonderful levels and infectious music; having a particular fondness for the series earlier entries Sonic 1 – Sonic 3 & Knuckles for the SEGA Genesis (Megadrive to him). Sonic was his bread and butter; and nothing was more compelling to him than the endless struggle between Sonic and his arch nemesis Dr. Ivo Robotnik. With this in mind Nautilus set out to capture the essence of that struggle by making an ambitious operatic hybrid orchestral piece chronicling Sonic's seminal battles with Robotnik. You will find iconic boss and final boss music from Sonic 1, 2, and 3 & Knuckles weaving in and out of piece. Ever wondered what a Latin Operatic choir singing about a hedgehog would sound like, Nautilus has got you covered. Never has a Hedgehog sounded so epic.
