The track “Dystopian Oasis” seeks to introduce a cold, isolated atmosphere to the original track “Desert Wasteland.” The synths and machine tones give the piece a more “industrial” and sinister sound, reminiscent of being lost in an abandoned factory or laboratory. The style of the piece, as well as the soundscape, was heavily influenced by dark electro and industrial artists such as Yendri, Front Line Assembly and Haujobb. I would like to thank all fellow GME musicians and arrangers for introducing me to a variety of excellent game music, as well as being an amazing group of people!
