Jacob and Jordan are pretty into metal music and dig the 'djent' style and sound of bands such as Periphery and Tesseract. Given this, they felt inspired to put a djent metal twist on the Fight On! boss battle music, while adding other layers of texture and atmosphere with some synths, strings, and other effects. They thought it would be fun to put a new spin on things, and thus ended up changing some of the chords towards the end of the track to emphasize an epic buildup for the outro!
