This track came about after stressing and not starting on anything for nearly two months! You see, close after signing up to take part on this cover album, several things happened: I moved to another state, my wife stayed behind to put the house on the market while I started a new job. Oh, and we found out that we're expecting another child! So life was crazy! One night I was playing around with Trois Gymnopedie No. 1 by Erik Satie (a personal fav!) and I realized that it could work perfectly with You Can Hear the Cries of the Planet. Ever since playing FF7 in high school, You Can Hear the Cries of the Planet has resonated with me. So after fretting and putting it off for nearly two months, I had the first two minutes and produced in about two hours! Then adding in the great playing and singing of Lauren, David, Joanne and Doug took the track to a whole other level. I hope you enjoy it as much as I enjoyed working on it!
