I chose Under The Rotting Pizza mainly because of its drum and bass groove. It has such a unique pattern that I couldn’t get it out of my head. I added multiple layers of synths to give the song a vibe you get from an 80’s sci-fi movie like Bladerunner. I recorded additional build up parts, expanding on the song’s mysterious tension. This also coincides with the unsettling feeling within the game of not knowing what will be around the next corner. As with all of my covers, I added more to the drums with extra fills, ghost notes, and more.
