Inspired by the original track and Piano Collections version, we decided to cover “Tifa’s Theme” and add our own flair to it. Although this tune is usually played in a slow and soothing manner, we created a more upbeat arrangement intending to depict both sides of Tifa’s personality: shy and badass. This is especially apparent in the contrast of mood between the piano and violin solo segments (i.e., the piano solo represents shyness, whereas the violin solo represents badassery). Along with the special powers of the bass and drums to add a funky rhythmic groove, here we have an arrangement called “Tifa Funk”! Enjoy!
