Hammerstar was requested with very specific recommendations and styles to be part of a project Jan is working on, a shooter, in fact! I started writing music originally for shooters, so this was very exciting. Jan provided detailed feedback. It's great to work with someone who has a very clear idea of what they want, but also gave me great freedom to try things. I think eclectic style is one of my strengths and I think it works very well in Hammerstar.
