ICEBOUND: a "God of War" Tribute is a synth-phonic metal project from the Italy-based home studio producer Dacian Grada, honoring the music from the critically acclaimed title “God of War”, a franchise reboot of one of Sony’s most iconic hack ‘n’ slash action platformers.

Just like the game’s more somber, serious and rough themes, this collection combines heavy metal arrangements, epic orchestral parts, and a hint of electronic music, with vocals ranging between different folk styles, operatic, and even power metal. Thanks to its unique synthesis of genres, "Icebound" will surely evoke that adventurous, glorious yet melancholic spirit that the original Bear McCreary score has.

The all-Italian team worked hard on bringing the original themes into a new, heavier and more majestic light, adding 4-part choral harmonies blended with intense string and brass runs; bringing together old and new, antique and modern for an epic journey through some of the most intense battle themes this game’s OST can offer.
