I've been listening to a lot of psytrance that my uncle Andre Kolosov (DJ Prokoll) sent me from his latest release. He does a bit of mastering of albums for 6Dimension Soundz. When this project came up, I knew exactly the genera I wanted to go for, unfortunately I didn't have any experience in creating EDM. That's when I decided to enlist in the help of Merina Gordon. We took the short electronic music course at WSU together and she came out of it creating trance tunes, so I thought who better to ask for help than the only music major who creates trance? We looked up a lot of things online on the basics of psytrance and created our remix from our influences. From there, I reharmonized the transcription to fit the Russian/Finnish psytrance harmonies that I was used to. Special thanks goes out to Jake Kargl for saving us a lot of time in transcribing the tune from start to finish.
