The track "Determination" has an evolving nature to it in that we have a beautiful, lyrical melody that is stated and repeated as the orchestration builds in power and volume, creating quite a powerful and grand atmosphere. When I listened to this piece, I thought that it will be a great piece to arrange into saxophone quartet. I wanted to replicate this idea of repetition toward a goal, so I arranged the piece so that the texture would be constantly changing and building in intensity and volume to create a feeling of excitement and, of course, determination.
