Chrono Trigger and Cross are two of my favorite games of all time - the series means so much to me that it's impossible to parse into words, but I'll try. This beginning track is when the game opens up; my idea for a take on it was something both mysterious, similar to the opening of "Into the Woods", and to mostly give it a Big Band feeling. It hints that there's a big journey to come, but that it's a peaceful day. This track follows vein to what the Chrono series represents, "There will be better days to come, but sometimes the journey will be tough"
