With this arrangement of “Terra,” our intention was to create something that played to both of our strengths. We met to discuss an overall feel, instrument palette, and timeline for production. Ultimately, we agreed to create a magical, ethereal version of the original with purely acoustic instrumentation. Jordan recorded guitars and the percussive elements in the arrangement, and Sean handled all of the orchestral elements. We enlisted the help and talent of Kristin Naigus (bansuri) and Ian Harshman (clarinet) to carry the original melody.
