"Dance of the Black Mage" is an arrangement of Vivi's Theme for woodwinds, harp, and piano that represents the journey of our impressions of Vivi as newcomers to Final Fantasy IX. The imagery of Vivi holds a mysterious air, yet we come to know him as a whimsical character that turns out to bear innate power.
