BUDDIES is a two-disc project celebrating Grant Kirkhope's iconic soundtrack to Banjo-Kazooie. Album producers Amanda Laven and Zachary Kohlmeier wanted to pay tribute to the two protagonists of the game by creating a unique disc of covers for each Banjo, the adventerous honeybear; and Kazooie, the wise-cracking breegull.
Fans of the 1998 3D platformer can choose to listen to BEAR SIDE, Banjo's playlist of playful and upbeat styles including pop, techno, and bossa nova as he adventures to save his sister from the evil witch Gruntilda.
Alternatively, listen to Kazooie's zany BIRD SIDE, a vibrant and high-energy playlist packed styles like metal, EDM, and synthwave!
