I honestly think I'd be happy just being a Pokémon metal channel.
It was actually an extremely overwhelming positive feeling to do a first generation Pokémon song again. I remember back in 2010, starting to learn some of the music to these games and absolutely falling in love with arranging and playing it. I guess over the years I felt I was either doing it too much or people weren't really into it as much as other stuff.
This cover exceeds the range of a guitar in standard tuning so I used the Blackjack's sustainiac system to really let those second string harmonics ring as long as I needed them. That was actually the main reason I bought the guitar in 2015, I really liked the idea of having infinite sustain at my disposal for covering music like this!
I finished Pokémon Let's Go Eevee last week and it's really made me want to cover more of this stuff. I hope you guys enjoyed or are enjoying that and it makes you enjoy this cover even more! Thanks so much for listening!
