Paula Elizabeth Bressman, a native of Nashville, Tennessee, enjoys bringing the harp to new audiences and genres through innovative collaborations, educational engagement and diverse programming. Equally at home performing Bach and Debussy as she is playing pop and rock, Paula enjoys an active and varied performance career, playing regularly with orchestras including the Nashville Symphony and Orchestra Kentucky Bowling Green as well as the Belmont University faculty Adelicia Trio. She also arranges and performs as half of the groundbreaking harp duo Beyond Pluck with award-winning harpist Rachel Miller. The two seek to push the boundaries of the instrument through their collaborations with astronomers, videographers, and visual artists.

A passionate music educator, Paula is on faculty at Belmont University and Austin Peay State University. She earned her Bachelor of Music at Vanderbilt University with Marian Shaffer and her Master of Music from the University of Cincinnati's College- Conservatory of Music under the tutelage of Gillian Benet Sella.
