Staff Sergeant Matthew S. Harrison is a musician for the United States Army, currently assigned to the 1st Cavalry Division Band at Fort Hood, TX.  He has served as a clarinetist and live sound engineer since 2010.  SSG Harrison’s music career began in 1996 when he was inspired by the music of various games on the SNES and was convinced to give middle school band a shot.  Since then, it has been a wild journey that has spanned clarinet, marching and concert percussion, live sound, stage lighting, and music production.
