Lordsburg Brothers came together as the college Barbershop quartet at the University of La Verne. They have been singing together since the fall of 2013.The guys were introduced to Barbershop singing by their crazy coach and friend, Carol Stephenson, who is on the music faculty at ULV, and hears dominant seventh chords in the hum of any air-conditioning unit. Somehow, she got a shy crooner, a skateboarding ex-physicist, an actor, and a pre-med computer geek to ring some chords together and like it. The quartet has performed in all of the swankiest venues in La Verne, La Crescenta, Long Beach and Laguna Woods. They hope to move on to all of the M cities next. They have competed at the Division level of the Far Western District of the Barbershop Harmony Society for the past 2 years, and have advanced to the District level of competition for the first time this fall, in Mesa, Arizona. Ooh! Our first M city! Big thanks to Emmanuel Lagumbay for being a stud and inviting us to work on this project with him.
