<span style="font-family: Arial; white-space: pre-wrap;">Lauren Liebowitz, aka Lauren the Flute, has been part of the VGM scene as a flutist and vocalist since 2010. She leads The Returners, a video game cover band that has performed at PAX Prime and PAX South, among others. She also records solo covers and has contributed to a number of collaborative projects over the years, including Super VG Christmas Party, Spectrum of Mana, and guest appearance on tracks by Year 200X, Viking Guitar Live, Marc Papeghin, The Plasmas, and stemage. She has performed live with Random Encounter, The World Is Square, Careless Juja, Funky Rustic, and Those Who Fight, and she was formerly a member of Descendants of Erdrick.

When not performing or recording music, Lauren spends her time baking cakes, telling stories, and streaming on Twitch.tv. She recently earned her MFA in creative writing; her short fiction can be found in publications such as Cicada and Weird Tales. She is online @LaurentheFlute almost everywhere.</span>
