<span style="font-family: Arial; white-space: pre-wrap;">Jason, on YouTube as pianist Jason Lux Music, began Suzuki piano lessons at age 4, which blended classical instruction with ear training to form his musical foundation. Jason has grown his abilities through jamming with his family and friends, and through learning to improvise by ear. In contrast to his classical roots, his style and repertoire have evolved into a mix of improvisations on the best songs from the last 100 years. Pop, rock, hip-hop, international, and funk music share the stage with jazz and show tune favorites, making his style enjoyable for a wide audience. Jason plays regularly in restaurants and at many corporate events, weddings, and fundraisers. He is a PhD student in engineering, working in a research lab during the day and playing music in the evenings.
