Eli is a Nashville-based violinist, composer, and arranger. Growing up studying classical violin and playing Super Nintendo games, it wasn’t long before he combined the two. Eli began playing the violin along with every video game he played through; often clocking hours upon hours with little progress in the game itself, having been so wrapped up in the music. He began transcribing songs from Chrono Trigger and Final Fantasy while in middle school; soon arranging them for himself and others to play. As Eli progressed with his musical studies, he became increasingly interested in composition, and later studied jazz improvisation.
As an arranger, Eli has worked with Austin Wintory and the Videri String Quartet. As a violinist, he has been a soloist with Wynton Marsalis, the Jazz at Lincoln Center Orchestra, and Victor Wooten.
