Originally from Shreveport, Louisiana, Angelique has spent the last several years traveling like nomads with her husband. Angelique is a professional violinist now based in Austin, Texas. She has played violin for over 22 years with at least 15 years of those years being professional experience. She loves to record in the studio and also play live with a band, symphony, or theatre production. Angelique is honored to have trained under the renowned Dr. Andrej Kurti at Northwestern State University in Louisiana. Although she learned under the classical genre, she has worked to expand her repertoire to many other styles of play, broadening her already eclectic résumé. Along with violin, Angelique is a vocalist specializing in harmonies. Singing was her first love. She initially learned to harmonize as a young girl, singing along with her mother to hymns and whatever happened to be on the radio. Coming from a musically inclined family, she was playing instruments, singing, and reading music long before she has any memory of learning the beginning steps. On the side, Angelique is pursuing her Master?s and Doctorate in Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine.
